Tammany Together, Inc. will hold a public meeting at the Calvary Baptist Church at 1615 Old Spanish Trail on Saturday, June 16 at 10:00 A.M. to answer questions about our organization; provide information about our mission, goals, and focus; introduce the initial Board of Directors; and provide information about how individuals, Homeowners Associations, and other organizations can become members. Tammany Together recently announced their formation at a press conference on May 7.

The Mission of Tammany Together is to identify issues of importance to the citizens of St. Tammany, educate our members and others on these issues, and exert a positive influence on their outcome by speaking out with a unified voice.

As the President of the League of Women Voters of St. Tammany stated about Tammany Together, "It’s time for ALL citizens of St. Tammany to be represented by an organization that is dedicated to making citizens equal partners with government and business in planning for the future of St. Tammany."

Residents of St. Tammany, representatives of Homeowners and Civic Associations, and leaders of non-profit organizations are invited to attend this meeting and learn why their membership in Tammany Together, Inc. will help them have a stronger voice in the future of the Greater Slidell area and St. Tammany Parish.
