Rigs on I-12

Very concerned about the night and early AM parking of tractor trailer rigs on I-12 shoulders and the access ramps of 1077 and Hwy 21. This cannot be legal andis a very dangerous practice - the likely injured party will be the operator of the passenger car or truck rather than the huge rig.

This is an unfortunate side effect of the closure of the rest stop and turnarounds but it is extremely unsafe practice. It effectively eliminates the shoulder for large portions of the interstate and access roads at the worst times of the day

Since Tammany Together is a citizen based organization, and we just had our
"coming out" press conference today, we need to wait until we have had a
chance to grow our membership and let the group decide what issues to
tackle. This issue, however, is one that would be a good one for the group
to consider. Thanks for pointing it out.

I hope you have already sent in your membership application to join Tammany
Together and will actively participate in the organization to both decide
what issues to tackle and to be part of the group who works together to get
things done!
