Tammany Together's next General Membership Meeting will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, July 19, 2010, at the Fire District 12 building, 19375 Highway 36, at its intersection with Highway 21 in the Claiborne Hill area of Covington. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. A map showing the location of the meeting is available at www.TammanyTogether.org/files/FD12.jpg.

We are planning to have several members of the St. Tammany state legislative delegation at this meeting to give us a recap of this year's session, during which a number of pieces of legislation important to St. Tammany were introduced.

Elections to the Board of Directors will also be conducted at this meeting. The slate of candidates is as follows (no write-in nominations were received):

New candidate nominated for an initial term: A.J. Berkeley, Abita Springs

Current board member nominated for an additional term: Carolyn Condon, Folsom

Several amendments to our bylaws will also be proposed and voted on at this meeting. Details will be provided in another email in the near future.
